We’ve had enough of the noise and the kind of faith that draws lines instead of building bridges. What most of us are really longing for is a place to belong—a space to heal, grow, and live with intention.
Here’s the good news:
Following Jesus in community offers all of that. At Discovery, we want to equip you to walk with Jesus in your real, ordinary, everyday life—no stage required.
Curiosity and discovery are essential for human growth. They help us explore new ideas, adapt to change, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world. The same is true for Jesus—our curiosity about Him invites us to discover His love, truth, and grace in deeper ways.
These three discoveries
represent the heart of our mission as a church. We seek to help others discover Jesus, Community & Mission.
Whether you’re skeptical, curious, or just tired of religious games—there’s room for you here.We long to see our friends, neighbors, and family experience the saving grace of God. That includes you.
Come as you are—but don’t expect to stay that way. At Discovery, we grow together. We believe God has a purpose for every part of your life—who you are and how you live. As we follow Jesus, we walkin His footsteps, and we trust Him to shape us from the inside out.
Discovery isn’t just a place to sit and consume—it’s a place to grow, lead, and step into your calling. We want to equip you to become the leader God created you to be, ready for whatever He’s inviting you into.
We love God, we love each other, and we love Utah—especially our neighbors in Murray, Salt Lake City, and across the valley.
No strings attached. No hidden agendas. Just a church doing its best to serve people with compassion, no matter their background or need.
We are a gospel-centered community that celebrates the life, death, resurrection and teachings of Jesus.
God with us.
A cross that saves.
An empty tomb.
A Spirit that heals and speaks.
It’s weird, yes—but it's the weird that saves us.
And we believe it's all true.
Yes. At Discovery, we live in the beautiful tension of both.
We’re rooted in the Word—believing Scripture is God-breathed and authoritative.
And we’re open to the Spirit—believing He still empowers, convicts, heals, and leads today. It’s the kind of church we see in Acts 2: a people devoted to the apostles’ teaching and filled with the Holy Spirit.
We trust in the sovereignty of God and pray expectantly for His miraculous work. We equip people to proclaim the Gospel and live it out through justice, compassion, and service. This is the heartbeat of our denomination, the C&MA: Jesus at the center, the Spirit alive among us, and the Word lighting our path.
All kinds of people. Different ages. Different stories. Different cultures and abilities. We believe church should look like the Kingdom—diverse, united, and welcoming. That means there’s space for you, just as you are.
We’re getting together this Sunday,

Since church is not a building, event, or institution, we believe that profound experiences happen in living rooms and coffee shops as often as they do in crowded auditoriums.
